Job Description
The role requires proficiency in blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, including pediatric blood collections and handling difficult draws in medical office buildings. A comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety is essential, along with the ability to effectively communicate this importance to other employees. The position also involves providing orientation and training for patient services.
Responsibilities
+ Collect blood samples by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
+ Perform pediatric blood collections and handle difficult draws, especially in medical office buildings.
+ Understand and promote compliance and safety standards.
+ Provide orientation and training for patient service personnel.
Essential Skills
+ High School Diploma
+ CPT 1 License
+ 1 year of phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting, including pediatrics, ICU, and high-volume areas.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Must be open to being called and working the same day.
+ Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
+ Ability to work on-call as needed.
Work Environment
This is an on-call position primarily located at Moreno Valley, with the possibility of picking up shifts at Riverside and other locations. The work schedule varies, including all shifts and weekends, requiring flexibility and availability for same-day call-outs. Initial training will be conducted on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday. The dress code is scrubs.

This is a Contract position based out of Moreno Valley, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
