**Purpose:**
Statistics or biostatistics student for a co-op position focused on systematic curation of clinical trial data to support Bayesian network meta-analyses and competitive landscape assessments. This role offers hands-on pharmaceutical industry experience in evidence synthesis and strategic data intelligence.
**Primary Responsibilities**
**Data Curation & Literature Mining**
+ Extract clinical trial data from medical literature, ClinicalTrials.gov, regulatory documents, and press releases
+ Structure heterogeneous data into standardized formats compatible with network meta-analysis
+ Parse endpoint definitions (absolute change, percent change, composite endpoints) and documentcomponentmeasures
+ Able to distinguishthe differentmethodologybehind endpoint reporting suchas efficacyestimandand treatment regimenestimandapproaches.
**Quality & Detail Management**
+ Ensure accuracy and consistency across multiple data sources
+ Identifyand document subtle differences in endpoint definitions, measurement approaches, andanalysispopulations
+ Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, extraction methods, and assumptions
+ Flag data quality issues and missing information proactively
**Collaborative Project Work**
+ Support project statisticians with analysis-ready datasets for Bayesian meta-analyses
+ Participate in weekly structured workflow meetings to prioritize tasks and review progress
+ Contribute to competitive landscape reports andevidencesynthesis deliverables
+ Communicate findings
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Currently enrolled in a PhD **OR** Masters program specializing in Statistics, Biostatistics or related field
**Additional Preferences:**
+ We would like for the successful candidate to start in March/April/ May/ June . Open to discussing further.
+ 12- 16 weeks opportunity depending on successful candidates availability.
+ Proficiency in a statistical programming language and systems/software e.g., R and SAS
+ Interpersonal/teamwork skills for effective interactions
+ Self-management skills with a focus on results for timely and accurate completion of competing deliverables
+ Creativity and innovation
+ Demonstrated problem solving ability and attention to detail.
