Pharmacy Technician

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
*Remote role. Must have Arizona license*
The pharmacy technician specialist is responsible for gathering information from medical records and other
sources as required to process medication refill requests while adhering to the department's protocol policies.
Technicians will also be data collecting, analyzing and reporting on controlled substance prescribing for Dignity
Health Medical Group (DHMG) providers.
+ Conduct and analyzes EMR chart notes and/or laboratory tests
+ Reviews renewal requests to ensure that the patient has a participating e-fill provider and has documentation of previous and/or future appointments in the clinic schedule
+ Ensures each refill request has appropriate documentation in the patients chart
+ Appropriately notifies the prescribing provider of any protocol criteria that are not met after reviewing therequested medication
+ Appropriately notifies the correct entities if a patient has not adhered to the monitoring parameters established by the prescribing provider
**Job Requirements**
**Minimum:**
High School Graduate upon hire
Experience in retail pharmacy
Pharmacy Technician: Must have Arizona pharmacy tech license
**Preferred:**
Associate Of Arts
Related work experience and college level education may be considered in lieu of education requirement
Two years experience in retail pharmacy
Two years experience in medical/insuran ce environment

**Pay Range**
$19.96 - $28.19 /hour
