Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
The pharmacy technician is responsible for filling daily prescription orders, which include punch cards, bulk items, over-the-counter medications, compounding, cassettes, and prepacks. Additionally, the role involves stocking and restocking medication inventory, printing daily orders for the pharmacy, and generating labels and delivery sheets.
Responsibilities
+ Fill daily prescription orders including punch cards, bulk items, OTCs, compounding, cassettes, and prepacks.
+ Stock and restock medication inventory to ensure adequate supply.
+ Print daily orders for pharmacy operations.
+ Generate labels and delivery sheets for medication distribution.
Essential Skills
+ Pharmacy Technician experience.
+ Customer service skills.
+ Registered Pharmacy Technician with the state of Minnesota.
+ Minimum of 6 months of pharmacy experience in filling prescriptions across retail, hospital, or similar settings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with data entry.
+ Familiarity with Target, Walgreens, CVS, Cub Foods or similar environments.
Work Environment
The work environment is a closed-door setting with a focus on technology. Employees have their own cubicles and can anticipate their schedules ahead of time. The facility operates on a rotating shift basis, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 AM and 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM. Employees are required to be available for both first and second shifts. Every third weekend, the schedule includes Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This dynamic and setting offers a start-up feel while navigating through early-stage challenges.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
