**Responsibilities**
Perform the duties of a staff pharmacist under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
+ Under direct supervision, maintain proper narcotic documentation and ensure proper distribution of narcotic medications.
+ Under direct supervision, ensure appropriate selection of dosing, administering and monitoring of medication.
+ Dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas.
+ May compound medications.
+ Assist pharmacists with maintaining and monitoring patient profiles.
+ Provide medication information and education to medical staff and patients.
**Requirements**
Education:
+ High school diploma/GED required.
+ Enrolled in, and have successfully completed second year of, a professional Bachelor's of Science degree program in Pharmacy.
