Pharmacy Intern team members are primarily responsible for receiving and inputting medication orders into computer via fax or phone from facilities under thesupervision of a registered pharmacist. Responsibilities Pharmacy Intern Responsibilities: + Demonstrate a complete working knowledge of the pharmacy software package. + Print labels and delivery sheets to allow technicians to fill orders. + Check final prepared medications for accuracy under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. + Provide drug information in an easily understood manner as requested by facility staff. + Research and clarifiy medication orders that are incomplete or unclear. + Support both operational needs to fulfill medication orders as well as support the consulting team. + Support MTM per scope of practice as well as conduct station audits within facilities.
