**Job Description**
BJC HealthCare and Saint Luke’s Health System are seeking a **Pharmacy Intern** to join our team in Kansas City, MO.
**Shift:** Part-time, Evenings
**Job Summary**
Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Intern performs essential duties related to compounding, dispensing, and delivering medications. This role is designed to provide hands-on clinical experience in preparation for future licensure as a Pharmacist, ensuring all activities comply with State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Assist in the accurate compounding and dispensing of patient medications.
+ Manage medication charging and delivery processes.
+ Perform pharmacy tasks under continuous pharmacist validation to ensure patient safety.
+ Gain practical pharmaceutical experience while adhering to state and federal legal requirements.
**Qualifications**
+ **Licensure:** Must possess a valid Pharmacy Intern license.
+ **Education:** Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy or a Pharmacy Early Assurance program.
+ **Alternative:** Applicants with a Pharmacy Technician license who are eligible for an intern license will also be considered.
