The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare billing environment (pharmacy preferred) and be familiar with online claims processing and Medicaid and Medicare billing practices.

Responsibilities• Maintains current knowledge in pharmacy billing requirements related to facility (Medicare A & Managed Care), commercial third party and Medicare Part D.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the customer first vision and communicates the philosophy and mission both within the organization to associates in their department and when externally representing the organization
• Provide management oversight and direction for facility billing for multiple customers or customer chain. Duties include staff development and accountability, billing quality, Prior Authorization, Claim Overrides and customer service
• Validate Admissions payer information if missing from New Admissions
• Participates in Quarterly Business Reviews in conjunction with Account Management.
• Work in conjunction with Account Management to communicate billing, Prior Authorization and Payer information with the customer, group or chain.
• Review monthly interim billing for the customer, group or chain of accounts.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
