Job Title: Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist-in-Charge

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist-in-Charge to oversee daily operations at our pharmacy located in Emporia, Kansas. The ideal candidate will be a licensed pharmacist in Kansas, ready to lead a team and ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.Fill prescriptions in compliance with regulations and standards.Verify prescriptions to ensure correctness and safety.Dispense medications and provide counseling to patients.Manage inventory effectively, ensuring adequate stock levels.

Essential Skills

Licensed Pharmacist in Kansas.At least 1 year of pharmacist experience.Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.Current pharmacist’s license in the state of Kansas.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Patient-focused approach.Resilience and adaptability.Basic computer skills.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of 1 pharmacist on-site with 1-2 pharmacy technicians. The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. No overtime or weekend work is required. The interview process includes 1-2 rounds of virtual interviews with the Director, preferably conducted via video.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Emporia, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
