Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist
Job Description
The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assigned patient care team, ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions in accordance with state, federal, and board of pharmacy laws. This role involves management of pharmacy staff, providing clinical support to patients, and facilitating effective communication with patients and clinicians.
Must have a PharmD for NC and CA.
Responsibilities
Provide oversight and ensure safety in daily operations of the patient care team.Manage assigned pharmacy staff effectively.Offer clinical support to patients.Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed in accordance with legal requirements.Handle primary intake for all new team referrals initiated by telephone.Deliver exceptional customer service as per internal policies.Build and foster strong relationships with patients and clinicians.Conduct comprehensive clinical reviews of pharmacotherapy, including drug utilization, compliance, drug interaction screening, side effect profiling, and drug administration support.Essential Skills
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.Strong customer service skills.Ability to counsel effectively.Proficiency in pharmacy operations.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in counseling and direct patient care.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to multitask efficiently.Computer savvy with strong technological skills.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Shepherdsville, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
