Pharmacist We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our Utilization Management team. In this role, you will apply your clinical expertise to complete a variety of utilization review functions, including prior authorizations, coverage exceptions, quantity limit exceptions, and more. You will work independently while collaborating closely with a team of pharmacists and pharmacy professionals. Quality and performance are tracked through monthly productivity and accuracy goals. Responsibilities + Perform clinical utilization management reviews (PAs, CEs, QLs, etc.) + Make independent, clinically sound decisions based on established guidelines + Work efficiently to meet quality and productivity benchmarks + Navigate multiple systems and tools to complete case documentation + Collaborate with pharmacy team members as needed for clarification or escalations + Maintain compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements Required Skills + Pharmacist + Retail Pharmacy Experience + Clinical Knowledge + Prior Authorization / Coverage Review + Pharmacy Benefit Management + Compounding experience a plus Qualifications + Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent + 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience (CVS, Walgreens, etc. highly preferred) + Active pharmacist license in good standing with the applicable State Board of Pharmacy + Must provide license number + Any disciplinary history must be disclosed during the screening process Must-Haves + Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments + Results-driven mindset + Self-motivated and able to work independently without frequent direction + Confident in making clinical decisions autonomously + Adaptability and resourcefulness in changing environments Technology Requirements + Comfort learning new systems and basic IT troubleshooting + Proficiency in Word and Excel + Ability to type 35+ WPM + Ability to work across multiple monitors Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Eagan, MN.
