Join our team as a Pharmacist, where you will play a vital role in preparing and dispensing medication orders. You will ensure compliance with state and federal drug laws, maintain pharmacy operations, and provide exceptional customer service. ResponsibilitiesPrepare and dispense medication orders by interpreting physician orders and completing drug utilization reviews.Ensure medications are labeled and packaged according to legal standards, preventing distribution of adulterated and misbranded products.Organize and direct pharmacy technicians' workflow, verifying order entries and product labeling.Maintain compliance with state and federal drug laws, assist with inspections, and keep accurate prescription records.Assist the pharmacy manager with inventory control, including removing outdated medications and managing recalls.Stay current with pharmacological knowledge through workshops and professional publications.De-escalate customer service concerns and escalate to upper management if necessary.Treat all patients and employees with dignity and respect, using proper pronouns and non-judgmental communication.Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, free of judgment and negative attitudes.Advise pharmacy personnel and health center providers on dosing, therapeutic incompatibilities, and adverse drug reactions.Participate in clinical programs and training to develop staff pharmacological knowledge.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures and regulations.Meet deadlines and complete tasks as designated by upper management.Essential SkillsMissouri Pharmacist LicenseAt least 1 year of experience in pharmacy staffing or managementProficiency with electronic health records and pharmacy systems such as ScriptProExperience in ambulatory care and community healthAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with HIV patient care is desirableFamiliarity with ECW and retail pharmacy settingsCPR and BLS certificationsWork EnvironmentThis is a part-time position with flexible days and hours, ranging between 24-32 hours per week. The pharmacy operates in a closed-door setting with technicians on site. You will be handling a high volume of complex patient needs, with 200-300 interactions daily. The role focuses on providing care to high-test patients, contributing to a fulfilling work experience in serving the community.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.00 - $61.00/hr.
