**Job Overview**
Provides pharmacy services to the patient, physician and hospital staff. Assures the timely and accurate filling of prescriptions and orders. Provides information and/or consultation to the patient and other health care professionals in the correct use of those medications and supplies.
**Essential Functions**

+ Ability to identify issues, obtain relevant information, relate and compare data from different sources, and identify alternative solutions.
Data Management:
+ Ability to analyze data to interpret and evaluate results, and create reports and/or presentations. Knowledge of appropriate data collection policy and procedures, filing systems, data management systems and programs.
Interpersonal Communication:
+ Skilled in developing effective rapport with customers, co- workers, or families, actively listening to develop a positive connection.
Patient Education:
+ Provides patient educational information appropriate to the developmental level, learning needs, readiness, cultural values, and beliefs of patients and families.
Patient Safety:
+ Demonstrates practices that support safety with recognition of variations in populations served, preventing harm to patients, families, employees, and themselves.
Professional Practice:
+ Demonstrates behavior consistent with the standards, scope of practice, ethics, and characteristics of a licensed professional.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor of Arts in Pharmacy
+ 1 year experience
+ License Pharmacist Qualification: MN Board of Pharmacy
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Doctorate of Pharmacy
+ ASHP accredited residency or equivalent experience in hospital pharmacy
+ 1 year 1 to 3 years
+ Board certification in specialty area (e.g., BCPS)
+ BCCCP: Board of Pharmacy Specialties
