What You’ll Do:
· Deliver expert pharmacy support across 679 beds, on night shift (7 days on/7 days off, Thursday night through Wednesday night rotation).
· Train and become an expert on:
Inpatient OperationsSterile and Non-Sterile Compounding OperationsControlled Substances OperationsTriaging nursing and provider pharmacy services needs· Gain additional exposure to direct clinical patient care, with flexibility to cover shifts as needed and based on skills and performance.
· Participate in additional rotational night shift coverage
Beyond the Bench:
· Collaborate on protocol development, guideline updates, and departmental goals.
· Ensure safe, effective medication use through order verification, regimen design, and therapy monitoring.
· Partner with pharmacy leadership and medical staff to optimize patient care and drug therapies.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s DegreeExperience: No experience requiredLicensure/Certifications: Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.Preferred Qualifications

The starting base rate for this role is $64.37 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.Benefits
