Location

This is an on-site position based in downtown San Diego, offering a collaborative, team-oriented office environment with direct attorney interaction.

Note

This role requires prior plaintiff-side personal injury paralegal experience. Candidates without hands-on PI case management experience from intake through settlement or litigation will not be considered.

Job Description

Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation Draft and manage correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and case documentation Request, organize, and summarize medical records, billing, and damages evidence Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and experts Track statutes of limitation, deadlines, and key litigation milestones Support attorneys with discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation Assist with settlement documentation, lien resolution, and case closure Maintain accurate case files and updates within the case management system

Qualifications

3+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury paralegal experience Strong litigation and case management experience from intake through resolution Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid understanding of civil litigation procedures Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
