**We are looking for a skilled and experienced Permit/HSE Lead to support a team of specialists across Europe, providing crucial support to one of our key clients. This pivotal role involves shaping and upholding permitting policies, managing permit applications, and cultivating a robust safety culture. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the client's HSE team and ensure compliance across multiple sites. **What You Will Do:**
● Lead a team of control of work professionals.
● Design, implement and maintain permitting policy.
● Oversee a permit application and control operation.
● Oversee the landlord compliance programme
● Participate in creating and enhancing our safety culture.
● Collaborate closely with the client HSE team
● Maintain accurate records and monthly reporting.
● Maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors.
● Deal with enquiries regarding control of work
● Deliver training to internal teams, other suppliers, and contractors.
● Monitor compliance.
● Prepare reports.
● Participate in audits.
● Assist in any other site requests or HSE work.
**What You Will Need:**
● Bachelor’s degree
● Health and Safety qualification, Nebosh /IOSH/other
● 4+ years of relevant experience
● Risk assessment/Method statement understanding
● Fluency in written and spoken English and Polish
● Computer literate
● Experience of leading other professionals
● Responsive to customer requests in an empathic, supportive, and productive manner
● Experience of working across national borders.
**Nice to have:**
● Basic understanding of risks and hazards associated with mechanical and electrical systems and construction techniques
● Language - business fluency in German, French, Spanish, or Hebrew would be a bonus.
● Technical drawing skills
● First aid qualification
● Management of Risk qualification
● Knowledge of facilities management and building systems..
