JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the supervision of the Division Chief and the Section Head, the PDO II shall perform key roles in the evaluation, management of portfolio, preparation of promotion, advocacy, and scaling-up of developed and evaluated social technologies. He ensures that effective and innovative models of intervention are widely disseminated, adopted and institutionalized by DSWD-Field Offices, Local Government Units, Non-Government Organizations and other stakeholders.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development of the design, for the evaluations of pilot-tested social technologies;

2. Assist in the conduct of the evaluation of the results of the project / program designs;

3. Assist in the coordination and field validation and assessment activities;

4. Provide inputs in the analysis of the evaluation data and prepare reports;

5. Assist in maintaining and updating of the evaluation data base;

6. Assist in the preparation of work and financial plan and ensures fund utilization;

7. Assist in the advocacy, promotion, and communication activities to promote tested social technologies and raise awareness of their benefits;

8. Assist in the provision of technical assistance and capacity-building support to implementers for adoption, replication, and sustainability; 

9. Assist in the establishment of partnerships and linkages with relevant agencies and institutions for wider replication; 

10. Assist in the conduct of monitoring activity and prepare status reports, progress, and outcomes of technology promotion, replication and institutionalization efforts;

11. Assist in the preparation of the activity proposals;

12. Review, analyze and prepare technical papers and other documents;

13. Attend inter-agency meetings, both internal and external to the DSWD;

14. Assist in the preparation of the WFP, and ensures timely fund utilization; and 

15. Perform other related tasks
