About HPE helps customers accelerate outcome-driven digital transformation. Our Marketing teams drive global demand and engagement through data-led programs, Modern Martech, and cross-channel execution. Join HPE this summer to gain hands-on experience with real marketing programs, work alongside experienced analysts and marketers, and help deliver measurable business impacts.  

 

As a Performance Marketing & Analytics Intern on HPE’s Marketing Activation team, you will support the development and execution of integrated marketing programs across email, digital, social, and paid channels. You will learn how marketing automation, audience management, paid media, analytics, campaign operations, and platform management come together to improve performance and customer engagement. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Assist in planning, building, and executing integrated campaigns across email, digital, social, and paid media channels. 

Support marketing automation workflows: audience segmentation, data preparation, campaign setup, and QA. 

Analyze campaign performance to generate actionable insights on effectiveness, audience behavior, and channel performance. 

Participate in audience management tasks including list preparation, data validation, and segmentation updates. 

Collaborate with paid media colleagues to gather channel metrics and monitor KPIs for active campaigns. 

Help create and maintain documentation and SOPs for marketing activation services and platform operations. 

Research industry trends, digital marketing best practices and competitor activity to inform strategy. 

Support marketing technology activities including platform updates, integrations, and basic troubleshooting. 

Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries to enable data-driven decisions by internal stakeholders. 

 

Qualifications: 

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Computer Science or related field. 

Strong analytical curiosity and comfort working with data (Excel/Sheets required; SQL or basic scripting a plus). 

Interest or experience with marketing automation, paid media, web analytics (GA4), and dashboarding tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.). 

Detail-oriented, organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

– United States of America: Hourly Salary USD 25.00 - 28.75 in California // 25.00 - 28.75 in Texas
The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
