Performance Environmental Engineer

The role is a part of the NextGen Production Support Environment team, focusing on Non-Production Support: + Claims system: Health Rules Payer (HRP) + Enrollment systems: Market Prominence (MP) & Softheon The position requires collaboration with business, QA, release delivery, infrastructure, and vendor partners, driving system stability and maintaining code releases. Key Responsibilities + Monitor system upgrades. + Analyze defect reports across the Non-Production Environments. + Provide on-call support 24x7 as needed on a rotating basis. + Participate in infrastructure, maintenance, and application release check-outs. + Maintain system support documentation. + Follow established methodologies, standards, and guidelines. + Contribute to event, incident, problem, and change management. + Collaborate with applications teams to monitor systems and processes, ensuring availability and customer satisfaction. + Foster a positive environment and build successful relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners. **Required Qualifications** + 3+ years experience supporting multi-tier applications. + 3+ years experience with or exposure to batch processing, monitoring technologies, and trend analysis + Knowledge or experience with AppDynamics (i.e., transaction analysis, dashboarding, and alerting). + Knowledge or experience with Splunk (i.e., data analytics, dashboarding, reporting, and alerting). + Knowledge or experience with relational databases and DML for SQL queries and Linux shell commands. + Knowledge or experience with event and incident management across multiple teams. + Knowledge or experience working in or leading dynamic, cross-disciplinary teams through issue resolution. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with Java/J2EE, Oracle Weblogic, Apache Karaf, and IIS. **Education** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field or equivalent experience. **Anticipated Weekly Hours** 40 **Time Type** Full time **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $92,700.00 - $222,480.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
