Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Jr-Mid-Level PeopleSoft Database Administrator to join their team. As a PeopleSoft Database Administrator, you will be part of the IT department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** PeopleSoft Database Administrator
**Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Onsite, 5 days/week; Hybrid may be an option after a few months)**
**What's the Job?**
+ Administer database infrastructure including capacity planning and building virtual machine instances, and physical servers.
+ Evaluate and analyze database issues, recommending and implementing solutions while managing and maintaining databases.
+ Assess database capacity and utilization trends, recommending hardware improvements as necessary.
+ Manage backup and restore of databases, identifying performance issues and executing performance tuning.
+ Participate in database software products evaluation and monitor database management systems across the Solution Deployment Life Cycle.
**What's Needed?**
+ 2-4 years of PeopleSoft administration experience, including deploying, patching, and HCM module expertise.
+ SQL Server expertise and experience supporting HR/payroll systems, including tax updates.
+ Strong troubleshooting techniques for multiple network operating domains and relational databases.
+ Experience with disaster recovery processes, including backup and restore operations.
+ Ability to create, configure, and administer PeopleSoft server components such as Application server, Process Scheduler, and Weblogic.
