People Team Intern, People Business Partners (Undergraduate - Summer 2026)
You could be the one who changes everything for our 28 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time. **Position Purpose:** ​Project focused work, both internally within the People Business Partner(PBP) Center of Excellence and PBP projects with a Business Unit (BU) perspective. Exciting opportunity to learn more about HRBP focused work – both as a member of the people team and also as advancing enterprise strategy and goal completion through indirect impact. Summer experience will activate projects (TBD) to the benefit of both PBP goals and BU goals, under direction of hiring leader or in partnership of a PBP leader if on a BU project. Will be a member of an exceptional PBP community and a tight knit PBP team on a more individual level. Does not require an HR background but someone who has a passion for culture, driving projects with impact, an interest in HR / people strategy / organization & op model is a plus. Location: Can work in any of the 50 US States. Remote(summer): 40/hrs. a week, 12 week program (May-August2026) Pay Range :$18-26/hr. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
