Job Description
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional to join our team as a People Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting new hire onboarding, scheduling, and retention efforts while maximizing employee placement to meet operational needs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and collaborative, with the ability to partner effectively across Operations and Talent teams in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
+ Previous experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Management, or Account Management support roles.
+ Strong experience managing schedules and coordinating processes in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
+ Proficiency using CRM, ATS, timekeeping, or scheduling systems to drive performance and new hire engagement.
+ Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work closely with multiple stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Partner closely with Operations and Talent teams to assess staffing needs and ensure effective employee placement aligned with operational demands.
+ Serve as a liaison between departments to communicate scheduling requirements and maintain alignment with business objectives.
+ Analyze call-off trends to identify priority talent gaps by market and account.
+ Utilize data and reporting insights to influence hiring, scheduling, and placement strategies.
2. New Scheduling, Onboarding, and Retention
+ Coordinate schedules and onboarding logistics to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for all new hires.
+ Collaborate with Operations site leaders to confirm consistent and timely communication with new employees.
+ Maintain regular communication with security personnel to monitor shift availability and optimize workforce utilization.
+ Partner with the Talent team to develop and support retention initiatives that enhance engagement, satisfaction, and workplace culture.
+ Provide ongoing support to new hires to ensure successful integration into the organization.
+ Coordinate and attend scheduled site visits to support employee and client satisfaction, identify people-related needs, and implement strategic initiatives that improve productivity, performance, and retention.
3. Administrative & Workforce Support
+ Provide administrative support for scheduling and coordination, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and accurate recordkeeping.
+ Generate reports and assist with data analysis related to staffing, placement, and retention metrics.
+ Liaise with security personnel and site leadership to support timekeeping, payroll accuracy, time-off requests, call-off management, and system data integrity.
4. Continuous Improvement
+ Identify opportunities to improve onboarding, scheduling, placement, and workforce management processes.
+ Proactively contribute ideas to enhance operational efficiency and the overall employee experience.
5. Additional Responsibilities
+ Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team and organizational success.
Requirements
+ Proven experience supporting staffing, recruitment, and field operations.
+ Willingness to travel to client locations to support recruitment, onboarding, and operational continuity.
+ Ability to work closely with site leadership, and operations while maintaining professionalism and compliance standards.
