Job Description Summary

As a Team Lead within the Shared Services team, you will oversee the delivery of day-to-day People operations across the United Kingdom and Ireland. You will lead a team responsible for managing first-level employee and manager queries, ensuring consistent, compliant, and timely execution of HR processes. This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate internal records and driving operational excellence across all aspects of the People function. You will also collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify process improvements and support strategic initiatives.

About the Role:

Case Management & Escalations: Lead the resolution of HR cases, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and managing Tier 2 escalations with professionalism and accuracy.Employee Life-Cycle Oversight: Supervise end-to-end employee life-cycle processes—from onboarding to offboarding—ensuring documentation integrity and adherence to internal policies and statutory regulations.Operational Support & Team Development: Provide guidance and training to HR Advisors, support Talent Acquisition coordination, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR operations.Reporting & Insights: Oversee the generation and analysis of HR reports, delivering accurate data and actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership.Project Leadership: Lead or contribute to complex HR projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, governance standards, and best practices.

About You:

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 5–10 years of experience in HR Services or a related field; strong understanding of HR operations and labor law is advantageous.Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (oral and written); proficiency in an additional European language is a plus.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in HR systems such as ServiceNow and Workday, along with Microsoft Office tools.Core Competencies: Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills; proven ability to lead teams, manage escalations, and drive process improvements
