**About the Role:**
As a CBRE People Associate, you will provide basic support and customer service to those contacting the People Service Center.
This job is part of the People Strategy and Operations function. They are responsible for the design, execution, and monitoring of human resource programs and policies.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Serve as second-level support for cases that come through about payroll and timekeeping, onboarding, talent acquisition, data management, learning & development, and leave of absence.
+ Manage escalation and cases that span across People Operations Services. Ensure high-quality remediation or resolution.
+ Understand the inner workings of People service practices around implementation and processes.
+ Research issues using multiple sources.
+ Establish relationships within the company to work cross-functionally with other teams. Gather information for inquiries that need more research and provide to Sr. team members to avoid ticket escalation.
+ Provide input for ideas and implement them to improve workflow processes.
+ Maintain People policies, procedures, or regulatory changes to ensure that the team is providing the most up-to-date and accurate information.
+ Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. May recommend new techniques.
+ Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related.
+ Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
+ A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.
+ Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
+ Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
