Our HR Shared Services team,  is looking for a detail oriented Jr Associate, People Support. In this hourly role, you will the engine room of our daily HR Operations, ensuring that our compliance requirements are met and our employees get fast answers to their questions. As the vital first point of contact for all Wonder employees – from our frontline restaurant workers and innovative chefs to our corporate teams.  It's the living embodiment of our commitment to employee success and satisfaction, combining the excitement of our high-growth company with the opportunity to directly impact our employees' experience and shape our culture. 

 

The Impact You Will Make:

Customer Experience Excellence

Serve as the dedicated first point of contact for all employee inquiries, delivering personalized, empathetic support that exceeds expectations 

Drive positive, memorable experiences through every interaction, from urgent HR needs to routine questions 

Provide multi-channel support with consistent service quality regardless of employee location or role 

Build lasting trust through reliability, empathy, consistency, and professional support 

Drive employee satisfaction through first-call resolution and proactive problem-solving 

Provide consistent, accurate information across all levels of the organization 

Ensures standardization of processes and policies across our expanding operation 

Operational & System Excellence 

Guide employees and managers through critical HR processes and self-service functions 

Process accurate and timely HR transactions including:  

Onboarding and new hire processing 

Job changes and transfers 

Compensation updates 

Benefits enrollment and support 

Employee data maintenance 

Partner with People Business Partners and Centers of Excellence on complex cases 

Maintain confidentiality and compliance in all interactions 

Document and track all inquiries using our case management system 

Escalate complex issues to People Business Partners 

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies, procedures, and HR best practices 

 

Culture & Employee Enablement  

Guides employees through critical HR processes 

Empowers self-service through Workday expertise 

Reduces friction in employee transactions 

Embody Wonder's values in every interaction 

Shape positive perceptions of Wonder's commitment to its people 

Create outstanding first impressions for new hires

What You Bring to the Table: 

1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role. Bachelor's degree a plus but not required 

1-2 years of customer service experience in any industry (restaurants & retail preferred) 

Basic computer skills including familiarity with: 

Email and calendar management 

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel basics) or Google Suite 

Ability to learn new technology systems 

Strong communication skills (written and verbal) 

Detail-oriented with good organizational habits 

Ability to maintain confidentiality 

Friendly, positive attitude with a genuine desire to help others

Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently 

Strong organizational and time management abilities 

Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines 

Experience with case management systems 

Knowledge of HR compliance requirements and best practices 

Salary NY : $24.75 -$29.10 per hour

Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
