**ONSITE IN LAPEER, MI**

Description of Role/Responsibilities/Project:

As a People Operations Partner at the manufacturing facility, you will be the primary HR partner for the hourly workforce. You will:

Lead hourly talent acquisition; partner with Group Leaders to define competencies for openingsPromote inclusive employee experiences; support communication, engagement, retention, and community eventsDrive onboarding, performance, training; administer recognition programs, job changes, separationsEnsure consistent application and execution of HR programs/processesMaintain accurate HRIS updates across the employee lifecycleInvestigate employee relations matters and act as escalation pointProvide flexibility to support employees across all shifts

Required Skills:

3+ years' of HR Generalist experience in manufacturing/industrial environmentsEmployee relations: investigations, coaching, disciplinary actions, timecards, attendance write-upsHourly talent acquisition: sourcing, interviewing, onboarding production/plant rolesStrong communication and interpersonal skills; trusted partner across all levelsProficiency in Michigan labor lawsHRIS experience; maintain accurate career/lifecycle changesStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion with confidential infoAbility to support multi-shift operations and be flexible across all shifts (including occasional early hours)Microsoft Office proficiency; problem-solving, decision-making in fast-paced environmentAbility to influence and coach leaders to drive positive employee outcomes
