About the Role We’re seeking a People Experience and Community Engagement Lead to deliver memorable welcome experiences for new hires while championing our brand in the community. This role ensures every employee’s first impression reflects our values of inclusion, recognition, and teamwork, while building meaningful connections with local partners and organizations. Key Responsibilities Employee Engagement & Onboarding • Host daily welcome sessions for new hires • Manage onboarding process (scheduling, reminders, communications) • Partner with managers to support new hire onboarding • Coordinate monthly employee engagement activities Community Engagement & Outreach • Represent the company at community events (e.g., McTeachers Night) • Build relationships with schools and community partners • Organize monthly and holiday engagement initiatives Qualifications • Strong communication and facilitation skills (bilingual preferred) • Experience in event planning, onboarding, or community engagement • Creative eye for design and branding • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills · Manages their own workload and takes initiative, while also acting as a cooperative and supportive team member · Passion for building inclusive and welcoming environments Why Join Us This is more than a role—it’s a chance to shape how employees experience our culture from day one and how our community sees us as a trusted, engaged partner.
