**How you will contribute**
You will:
+ Support and partner with the Senior People Lead on the definition and execution of global and local policy and change initiatives and understand the impacts of the changes planned
+ Partner with function leads and middle managers to collaborate on creating and delivering the functional priorities and plan, providing strategic guidance
+ Leverage data analytics in driving business solutions and decisions and support with the delivery of operational processes and leverage insights and data and translate into actionable plans to impact the bottom line and enable business strategy. Inform and update People Services of any local, legal and regulatory changes in market
+ Lead and advise on talent management practices within assigned business unit related to workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy planning, leadership development, employee development, career and succession planning and talent mobility, approving job requisitions
+ Build end-to-end capabilities that accelerate consumer-centric growth and operational excellence
+ Manage works council relations and provide guidance to HR to ensure successful implementation of labor policies and compliance with laws and agreements

**More about this role**
As part of the People Experience Team, the People Experience Advisor is responsible for the end-to-end people service delivery process. Working with the People Managers, Employees, People Leads, Centres of Excellence and the Shared Service Centre; to drive self-service and to optimize the employee experience across the ‘moments that matter.’

**People Experience Advisor**
+ Delivers on the moments that matter to employees and managers through the Lifecyle of their employment, in partnership with all workstreams.
+ Delivers people practices in line with all local legal/regulatory frameworks (e.g., policy changes, compensation, change management, etc.).
+ Continuous improves of the employee centre, including updating/creating knowledge articles and process simplification.
+ Leverage Technology where possible.
+ Works in partnership with the shared service center to resolve escalations where local expertise is required.
+ Actively participates in team meetings and squads
+ System Mastery – has an in-depth working knowledge of all HR systems and tools.
+ Champions the employee experience and drives continuous improvement and process efficiency, solves problems using root cause analysis to continuously improve the employee experience and partners with internal and external stakeholders as needed
+ Liaises with immigration Counsel and Global Mobility as needed to provide support to inbound travelers to Canada ensuring the appropriate work authorizations are obtained and maintained
+ Reviews work permits for all new hires and is responsible for tracking expiry dates.
+ Works with external tax partners and is responsible for the end-to-end tax program for inbound US travelers to Canada
+ In store visits with sales reps
+ Manage the Annual Sales Incentive Program (SIP) calculation process
+ Co-owner of the Canada People Experience communications strategy – including managing the annual communication calendar, creating, and approving People Experience email communications, posters, flyers etc.
+ Delivers orientation sessions to Sales and Head Office new hires, ensuring a smooth induction into Mondelez.
+ Use data analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement and transformation.
+ Leverage technology to deliver the best employee experience.
+ Works in close partnership with the people leads and our people services teams to deliver the engagement agenda
+ Supports the people leads with reorganizations, working closely with internal and external partners to complete the end-to-end process.
**Job specific requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in human resourcesor a **related** field is required
+ Human Resources Generalist experience required.
+ Knowledge and experience working in High Performing Work Systems and Lean Six Sigma environment an asset.
+ Leadership skills to uphold policy, provide direct, actionable feedback and support Managers with decision making and execution.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with all levels in the organization; build and leverage relationships and diffuse high-tension situations effectively.
+ Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Oral)
+ Immigration Experience.
+ Continuous Improvement Skills.
**Travel requirements:**
+ 5% to 10% travel required within GTA
_The expected base salary range for this position is CAD $84,500.00 to CAD $105,650.00 depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 8% with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results._
