**What You’ll Do:**
+ To business partner with the Executive/Managing Director and other stakeholders to deliver the customer, financial and people objectives to ensure the Division/Country achieves its business goals
+ Lead, develop and coach the business area People team
+ Lead and participate in delivery of key business and people initiatives across the business
+ Produce and own the business area People Plan and deliver against agreed success measures
+ Ensure that the business area and wider Local business has the talent bench strength to support our growth
+ Be a visible and accessible part of the Management Team, recognised as the People leader for the Division/Country
+ Work with the Talent Acquisition team to deliver our Vision of delivering exceptional client outcomes through world class talent
+ Work with the Talent & Learning Management team to ensure that all employees have access to programmes that build on their current skills, allowing them to fulfil their roles to the best of their ability and to develop in readiness for future roles
+ Produce measurable talent and succession plans and co-own the delivery of these plans with divisional People leads Lead initiatives to improve competence and capability of talent across the organisation, constantly driving up bench strength
+ Act as a champion for business area diversity, equality and inclusion initiatives
+ Own the induction of new employees through regular engagement and tracking to drive up employee retention rates
+ Collaborate with Total Rewards team and business leaders to embed CBRE best practice in pay and utilise relevant reward data when making compensation decisions
+ Support the sales team with tender/bid activities including written submissions and presentations
+ Be accountable for the people related aspects of all transitions, working through the operational management team and your People team
+ Work with the management team as a coach, challenger, contributor and driver of important business area decisions and organisational change where needed
+ Ensure that the business area operates people policies and practices in line with company best practice
+ Act as a role model for CBRE RISE values and leadership behaviours
+ Own the delivery of initiatives which consistently reinforce CBRE’s culture and behaviours such as; Rise to exceptional, induction programmes, exceptional awards, site-based toolbox talks and communication boards
+ Lead on action planning from the outputs of employee engagement surveys
+ Demonstrate positive employee engagement through HR metrics such as turnover and absence and have plans in place where these do not meet local, regional and Company targets
+ Ensure that managers have the tools and access to advice needed to effectively manage the performance of their employees
+ Own the training of all managers in the Company’s People policies and procedures and use of People management tools so that underperformance is managed effectively
+ Manage employment law risks and provide solutions, act as the employment law expert and provide timely advice and follow up with managers
+ Create a culture of excellence and best practice which is clearly visible through the outputs of the team
+ Translate business and People MI trends to facilitate sound business decisions
**What You’ll Need:**
+ Tertiary level qualification in related area
+ Minimum 10 years experience working in related position in large organisations
+ Communication: Effective interpersonal and communication skills, empathetic and an excellent relationship builder
+ Leadership & Coaching: Team leadership and development skills
Strong networking skills
Organised with good attention to detail
Able to understand complex situations
Coaching skills to exec level (desirable)

Extensive knowledge at senior level of People and talent management strategies, practices and initiatives
