Join our dynamic team as a People & Culture Manager for our newly established Unit at our state-of-the-art Hazelwood, MO facility. This strategic role is pivotal in driving our ambitious growth strategy by developing and implementing HR policies and programs that support employee engagement, productivity, and organizational goals. The successful candidate will oversee key HR functions including recruiting, employee relations, compensation, payroll, benefits, training, and employee records, while also facilitating internal staff communications.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and align with business goals.Organize orientation and ongoing training for new hires and existing employees.Administer employee compensation and benefits programs.Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.Lead annual salary review processes.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation and benefits offerings.Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a positive workplace culture.Deliver internal staff communications and organize events to foster company culture.Implement and manage performance management systems, including appraisals and feedback processes.Advise managers on performance-related matters and employee development.Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.Source and manage external training providers as needed.Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.Conduct skills gap assessments across the organization.Analyze HR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs.Prepare reports for leadership on HR activities, trends, and strategic recommendations.Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining current knowledge of HR legislation.Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and compliance standards.Regularly revise policies to reflect changes in legislation or organizational needs.Essential SkillsPrevious experience in manufacturing, with a focus on food manufacturing being a plus.Hands-on experience in human resources and employee relations.Knowledge of labor laws, safety regulations, and training methodologies.Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.3–5 years of HR experience, including recruitment and learning & development.Detail-oriented with experience in GMP, Safety, and FDA regulations.Work Environment
This position requires onsite work from Monday to Friday at our Hazelwood, MO facility. The environment is fast-paced, supporting a manufacturing setting with a focus on safety and adherence to GMP and FDA standards.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
