Pension Administration -Coordinator

This role is at the very core of Mercer Services within the Wealth arm of our business supporting Members, Trustees and Clients. This position involves overseeing money management tasks, handling various ad hoc business responsibilities, and contributing to ongoing projects to support the efficient operation of the business.

We will rely on you to:

Manage and oversee money management activities related to pension schemes.

Run and analyze reports to support pension administration and financial accuracy.

Complete reconciliations to ensure data integrity and financial accuracy.

Execute tasks assigned through the workflow system efficiently and accurately.

Utilize multiple software applications to manage pension data and processes.

Support ad hoc business tasks as required by the team.

Participate in projects aimed at improving pension administration processes and systems.

Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

To promptly and professionally communicate with clients and scheme members on queries when required via letter, e-mail and telephone

Respond to errors and ensure complaints are handled effectively

Be a champion of change and provide opinions if you have an idea to create more efficiencies

What you need to have: 

A proactive individual who can get stuck in and take ownership of tasks.

Strong initiative with the ability to investigate issues thoroughly and find solutions.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial and data management tasks.

Proficiency in running reports and performing reconciliations.

Experience using multiple software applications and workflow management tools.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Previous experience in pension administration or financial services is preferred.

Basic understanding of pension schemes and related regulations is an advantage.
