Your role will involve developing, verifying, and upgrading electronics within electro-optical systems, handling tasks such as circuit board development, firmware (FPGA & CPU) development, cable/harness design, documentation, board and system-level integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop circuit boards for electro-optical systems.Integrate and troubleshoot electronic components and systems.Participate in board and system-level integration and testing.Engage in short-term and long-term projects within the R&D team.Develop firmware for FPGA and CPU-based systems.Conduct cable/harness design and documentation.Collaborate within a team while making decisions in your area of expertise.Participate in field tests and experiments.Essential Skills0-8 years of applicable work experience.Experience with circuit board design, integration, and troubleshooting.Comfortable working hands-on and participating in field tests.Proficiency with electrical lab equipment for embedded system development.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience developing hi-rel military and/or space-flight electronics.Proficiency with FPGA/CPLD design, simulation, and troubleshooting.Experience with embedded CPU/Microcontroller firmware development and integration.Knowledge of LIDAR systems.Work EnvironmentWork in a creative and relaxed atmosphere that fosters innovation and customer success.
