Job Description:

The Payroll Tax Specialist position supports activities related to the filing and depositing of employment taxes to the various federal, state, and local tax authorities. This position is responsible for the timely research and resolution of all employment tax agency notices that are received. This position supports the processing of all quarter-end and year-end activities to ensure timely and accurate agency filings.


Responsibilities:

Generate daily wire funding for all payroll tax liabilities.Research and respond to agency tax notices from federal, state, and local authorities. Support quarter-end activities such as reconciliations, file transmissions, resolving errors, etc.Support year-end activities such as annual audits, W-2 production, etc.Respond to internal support requests from Payroll and other business partners.Process manual tax payments, returns, or other agency requests as needed.Partner with Payroll Tax Analysts to improve and innovate processes as needed.


Qualifications:

1 to 3 years of Payroll Tax experience preferredADP Employment Tax Services & ADP SmartCompliance experience preferredExperience with Microsoft Excel required, i.e. basic functions, vlookups, etcBachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred
