Job Title: Payroll Tax Analyst Job Description This role involves working through, logging, and resolving payroll tax notices. It requires experience with 941s, 940s, and state income tax, as well as payroll tax registration and account reconciliation. Responsibilities + Work through and resolve payroll tax notices efficiently. + Log all payroll tax notices accurately for record-keeping. + Handle payroll tax registration processes meticulously. + Perform account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy. + Manage and resolve issues related to 941s, 940s, and state income tax. Skills & Qualifications + 4+ years of tax experience. + Proficiency in payroll tax, tax notices, and tax return processes. + Strong skills in account reconciliation and tax accounting. + Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP. + Experience with Viewpoint and/or SharePoint is nice to have. Work Environment The payroll tax team consists of 7 members, fostering a collaborative work environment. This role will report to the Payroll Tax Manager. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
