Job Title: Payroll Supervisor
Job Description
As a Payroll Supervisor, you will oversee the entire payroll process, including processing bi-weekly payroll, running reports, validating data, maintaining timekeeping systems, and administering garnishments and deductions. You will be responsible for building workflows and processes within the HRIS/payroll system to enhance automation and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Process and review time to ensure complete and accurate multi-state payroll processing.Generate direct deposits and complete postings.Maintain an advanced understanding of multi-state and city tax codes to ensure payroll accuracy.Provide timely support on complex payroll questions/issues with a strong employee-centric attitude.Utilize advanced technical acumen of the HRIS/Payroll system to transfer data, run reports, and manage transactions.Offer guidance on payroll and tax law for future state operating expansions and complex payroll situations.Assist with timecard validations, vacation entries, and data validations prior to accounting system exports.Create processes and standards for the structure and maintenance of the electronic timekeeping system, including new hire setup, permission profiles, employee groups, pay codes, and user roles.Participate in and present various department trainings, including new process launches and new hire orientation.Lead the integration actions of acquired companies to ensure smooth integration of payroll processes, including project planning, workflow training, adoption, and communication strategies.Oversee all employment verifications and processes.Oversee employee garnishments, ensuring timely responses and payments.Essential Skills
3+ years of payroll experience.Strong ability to build workflows and processes within HRIS/payroll systems.Advanced understanding of multi-state and city tax codes.Advanced technical acumen in HRIS/Payroll systems.Strong understanding of payroll and tax law.Additional Skills & Qualifications
ADP experience preferred.Experience managing payroll for 500+ employees.Work Environment
This position requires working Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, in an office setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
