Payroll Supervisor Job ID 223963 Posted 23-Jun-2025 Service line Corporate Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest People/Human Resources Location(s) Richardson - Texas - United States of America **About The Role:** As a CBRE Payroll Manager, you will oversee the team responsible for payroll processes and ensure they are executed appropriately and in a timely manner. This job is part of the Payroll function. They are responsible for processing, auditing, and resolving employee wage inquiries. **What You'll Do:** + Operate as the subject matter expert and escalation point to resolve issues. Continuously look for improvements in operational processes and designs and implement those initiatives. + Coach and mentor team members and implement workable solutions to business issues and problems with minimum referral to management. + Conduct work planning, estimation, and prioritization to improve team performance. Work with Payroll Manager to define standards and goals. + Train team members on new or enhanced operation procedures and policies. Confirm team members have the necessary skills and performance attributes, inline with business and personal development needs. + Monitor workload, evaluates direct reports, and may review the evaluations and development plans of others. + Implement quality control measures and identify process improvements. + Supervise and coordinate year-end processing, including supplemental payroll runs and calendars. + Assist with system development activities and participate in testing activities. + Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives. + May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives. + Have a direct impact on the team objectives as well as the objectives of related teams. + Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset. + Exceptional math skills.
