Primary Responsibilities

Onboarding:Collect and process new-hire paperwork, tax forms, and direct deposit setupEnter employee data into payroll and timekeeping systemsAssist employees with benefits enrollment and ensure accurate deductionsProvide payroll guidance during orientation and support compliance trainingPayroll Management:Process multi-store biweekly & monthly payroll for salary, commission and incentive-based employees accurately and on scheduleVerify timecards, overtime, bonuses, and deductionsAdminister garnishments, retirement plans and tax withholdingsMaintain payroll records and conduct regular auditsAssist with year-end payroll processesBenefit administrationOffboardingProcess final pay, PTO payouts, and severance as neededManage benefit terminations and COBRA noticesEnsure compliance with legal and recordkeeping standardsCompliance and Reporting:Stay current on labor laws, tax updates, and system enhancementsGenerate reports for finance, HR, and leadership teamsFrom time-to-time, you may be required to perform other duties – as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practicesTrustworthy with high attention to confidentiality, privacy, and securityAbility to handle high volume in a fast-paced environmentAbility to take initiative, solve problems, and apply critical thinking Well organized, have a strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and procedure orientedExcellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skillsTeam player, friendly and have a professional attitudeExcellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook programsEducation and Experience:
