Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Lewisville, Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience managing full-cycle payroll processes in a construction industry setting, demonstrating exceptional accuracy and organizational skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle diverse payroll tasks while supporting both accounting and human resources functions. Responsibilities: • Process weekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Audit timesheets and verify job codes to maintain compliance with company standards. • Manage deductions, garnishments, and payroll adjustments in accordance with regulations. • Assist with payroll audits and provide detailed reports as needed. • Collaborate with accounting to support payroll-related activities and resolve discrepancies. • Serve as a backup for HR in payroll-related tasks. • Utilize Sage or similar payroll systems to execute payroll functions effectively. • Provide bilingual Spanish support, if applicable, to enhance communication and service. • Maintain organized records and documentation for payroll compliance and reporting. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll, preferably in the construction industry. • Proficiency in Sage or similar payroll software • Strong understanding of payroll processes, including garnishments, deductions, and adjustments. • Ability to audit timesheets and manage job codes accurately. • Experience handling certified payroll is preferred. • Bilingual Spanish skills are highly advantageous. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with accounting and HR departments.
