Payroll Specialist

*This person will be the first point of contact for payroll related questions and issues and provide excellent Tier I support for general questions and issues
Description
• Support the intake, assigning, research, and resolution of general payroll and timekeeping inquiries
• Assist with specific data entry such as direct deposit, supervisory and demographic information changes
• Monitor payroll hotline while providing outstanding customer service support
• Assist with workflow approvals with ADP Vantage as needed
• Assist with special projects as identified by the Payroll/HRIS Systems Manager and Payroll Ancillary Manager
• Learn specific duties of Time & Attendance Analyst and Payroll/HRIS Analyst to act as backup
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Proactively seek and provide creative approaches to problem solving and process improvement
• Strong ability to collaborate with other team members to resolve payroll variances, provide reporting support and deliver quality results to employees and external customers
• Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment; highly organized, flexible, rigorous attention to detail, and a high level of confidentiality
• Demonstrated ability to produce data in a clear and understandable manner meeting user requirements
• Experience providing support to 3,000+ employees/processor
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
