Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a part‑time Payroll Specialist to work as a contractor for a year‑long engagement with a manufacturing partner of ours. In this role, the specialist will verify and audit employee timecards, maintain and update payroll data for new hires, terminations, and status changes, and manage prevailing wage filings. They will also support hiring‑related functions by coordinating onboarding sessions, interview scheduling, and candidate site visits, pulling and analyzing contractor and HR reports, assisting with absenteeism tracking, and partnering with supervision and HR on shift changes and employee moves. Additionally, the specialist will contribute to hourly recruitment efforts, support site‑critical HR projects, and uphold strict confidentiality across all employee data.

Skills and Requirements
• High school diploma / GED with at least 2 years of experience with operations assistant, payroll, HR Coordinator role
• Prior experience working with ADP
• Prior experience with prevailing wage
• Excellent organizational skills required
• Strong experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
