Payroll Specialist

+ **Mon-Thurs. 9am-3pm (onsite)**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including filing, scanning, and scheduling.
- Assist with recruitment tasks such as posting job ads and coordinating interviews.
- Help onboard new employees by preparing documentation and scheduling orientations.
- Maintain employee records and update HR databases with accuracy.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support payroll and timekeeping processes by verifying data and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and company events.
- Prepare basic reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business preferred.
- 1+ years of administrative or HR support experience.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formatting, simple formulas).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with HR software or systems (e.g., ADP - Workday).
- Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
- Bilingual (depending on workforce needs) a plus
