Experienced payroll professional responsible for the preparation, documentation, and disbursement of all payroll checks and related deductions and for keeping accurate payroll records according to company policy. Manages additional projects.  Provides guidance to Payroll Coordinators; Leads payroll department in absence of the Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities Provides guidance to teammates and trains Payroll CoordinatorsPayroll Lead; Manages Payroll Coordinators in absence of Payroll ManagerDevelops BI Reports in UKG/UltiProManages 8027 Annual Tip FilingsManages FL Reemployment Tax FilingsResponsible for UEZ reportsMaintain communication between HR and PayrollManages and assists with various Payroll Projects, including analysis and testingKeeps up-to-date on legislative and system changesEnsures compliance with all local, state, and federal income tax laws and ensures proper disbursements are made to agenciesReviews and oversees restaurant managers’ monthly reconciliationManages and oversees multiple entities payroll submissions Processes weekly/biweekly payrolls.Ensures timely and accurate W-2s; Involved with year-end process and adjustmentsResponsible for completing all payroll related reports, paperwork, and documents accurately and in a timely manner.Resolves discrepancies in hours worked and hours paid and communicates issues appropriatelyEnsures the accurate collection and entry of data.Supports field management in resolving payroll issuesParticipates in special projects and compiles a variety of special reports, as assigned. Qualifications Assoicate degree in related fieldBachelors degree in Accounting or Finance1-3 years hands on payroll experienceKnowledge of payroll tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.Strong understanding of payroll software and related computer applications.Experience with multiple state (NY, NJ, CT, and PA) payroll processing.Advanced math skills; ability to calculate figures, amounts, and percentages, and apply concepts of mathematics relating to financial calculationsAbility to manage people effectively Must have initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively Ability to maintain highly confidential informationStrong interpersonal skills to interface with all disciplines and levelsResourceful with exceptional problem solving and decision-making skills, ability to troubleshoot with keen attention to detailAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing demands with a strong sense of urgency Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
