Payroll Specialist
Job Title: Payroll SpecialistJob Description Administer payroll processes in coordination with an external payroll service provider, ensuring timely and accurate processing of base pay, commissions, bonuses, and supplemental payments. Collect and validate payroll data, perform calculations, and resolve discrepancies while maintaining and updating payroll master files with confidentiality. Responsibilities + Transmit payroll data and distribute checks to local Payroll Administrators. + Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. + Process payroll transactions related to promotions, transfers, new hires, wage adjustments, terminations, and benefit deductions. + Review and approve monthly invoices from staffing agencies. + Provide support and troubleshooting for UKG payroll and self-service tools. Essential Skills + Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax. + Proficiency in using UKG for payroll support and troubleshooting. + Ability to manage payroll for 300+ employees. + Strong HR knowledge, including payroll accounting, bonuses, commissions, employment, and new hires. + Diploma with 5+ years of payroll experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Understanding of benefits administration, payroll administration, and leave administration. Work Environment The role requires working onsite for 5 days a week.
