Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to efficiently process payroll for both hourly and salaried employees. This role requires meticulous attention to detail to verify timesheets and resolve any discrepancies. You will be responsible for entering and maintaining employee data in payroll systems and handling direct deposits, paper checks, and wage garnishments. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations is essential. You will also collaborate closely with HR and finance teams on payroll-related matters, prepare payroll reports, and support audits.

ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll for hourly and salaried employees.Verify timesheets and resolve discrepancies.Enter and maintain employee data in payroll systems.Handle direct deposits, paper checks, and wage garnishments.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.Collaborate with HR and finance on payroll-related matters.Prepare payroll reports and support audits.Essential SkillsProficiency in payroll software.Strong math and data entry skills.Knowledge of payroll laws and tax regulations.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with payroll processing and garnishments.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
