**Job Title** : Payroll Specialist **Location: REMOTE** **Shift:** Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM **Pay Rate:** $28/hr. **Responsibilities:** + Perform timecard audits to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws; review and sign off on timecards for accuracy and approval. + Maintain and update employee payroll records in UKG Pro, including new hires, terminations, benefit deductions, 401(k) elections, garnishments, tax withholdings, and direct deposit changes. + Process retroactive pay and gross-up calculations for prizes, awards, and financial planning benefits. Administer severance payments in accordance with pre-established schedules and process termination and layoff payments as needed. + Run pre-processing reports, assist in resolving pay issues as needed. + Run post-processing reports and save integration files following payroll finalization to ensure proper documentation and audit readiness. + Complete post processing tasks including the Hours Reconciliation, Payroll Comparison, Tax Reconciliation, Gross to Net Audit, Invoice Allocation, Plant Accounting Accrual Report, Multiple Worksite Reporting. + Review and approve expense reports in Concur in accordance with company policy. Respond to expense-related inquiries and provide support to Associates as needed. + Research and respond to payroll inquiries from Associates, internal departments in a timely and professional manner. + Assist with ad hoc payroll-related tasks and special projects as needed **Requirements:** + High School diploma required. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred + Minimum 2 years of payroll experience required. + Experience with UKG Pro/WFM integrated solution and Concur Expense preferred. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. + Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume processing environment with strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. + Organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
