Are you passionate about delivering flawless payroll services that make a real difference in employees' lives? We're looking for a customer-obsessed Payroll Prep Analyst who'll go beyond just processing numbers to create exceptional experiences.
Does it sound great? What will you be working on?
- Bonus Payments: Oversee and verify bonus payments, ensuring compliance with social security and tax regulations.
- Social Security Liaison: Collaborate closely with social security agencies and government offices on matters of continued pay and general social security inquiries.
- Overpayment Resolution: Contribute to the overpayment process, ensuring financial accuracy.
- Data Integrity: Input, verify, and maintain all personal and payroll-relevant data in our HR information and payroll system.
- Payroll Preparation: Prepare and provide timely data for central payroll processing.
- Analytics and Reporting: Create, track, and control evaluations and statistics to support decision-making.
- Process Ownership: Take responsibility for specific processes and engage in project work.
- Suggest process improvements using Six Sigma methodology
- Support payroll components of strategic initiatives
- Deliver on payroll part of country expansion projects
- Contribute innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Upkeep of payroll processes and inventory ( SOPs, process maps etc.)
- Raise blockers and issues senior analysts and managers
Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1,800 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements. There will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card, career development.
Basic Qualifications
- Excellent customer service orientation
- 1+ year payroll/HR experience OR 3+ years professional experience (non-payroll /HR)
- Fluency in English
- Advanced user of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)
- Strong analytical and statistical capabilities
- Experience with root cause analysis
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of personal income tax legislations and social security law and labor law
- Familiar with SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP software
