Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll Analyst with proven experience using Paycom to manage and optimize payroll operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with labor laws, and providing data-driven insights to support HR and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Collect, verify, and analyze timekeeping and payroll data across departments.
+ Process payroll using Paycom, including regular, bonus, retroactive, and off-cycle payments.
+ Audit payroll transactions for accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
+ Maintain and update payroll records, including pay rates, deductions, and employee status changes.
+ Prepare and distribute payroll reports for internal use, audits, and regulatory filings.
+ Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure alignment on compensation, benefits, and reporting.
+ Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries professionally and promptly.
+ Assist with payroll tax filings, W-2 preparation, and year-end reporting.
+ Recommend and implement process improvements and system enhancements within Paycom.
+ Stay current on payroll legislation and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or HR preferred.
+ Minimum of 4 years of payroll experience, with at least 1 year using Paycom.
+ Strong understanding of payroll regulations and best practices.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
+ Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
