Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Garnishments Specialist to manage and process garnishment orders, including wage attachments, bank levies, and other court-ordered financial obligations. This role requires interaction with creditors, attorneys, and employees to gather necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Process garnishment orders, including wage attachments, bank levies, and other court-ordered financial obligations.Interact with creditors, attorneys, and employees to gather necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies.Maintain accurate records and report on garnishment activities to meet regulatory requirements.Collaborate with payroll and accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate garnishment withholdings.Stay updated with changes in garnishment laws and regulations, and implement process improvements to ensure ongoing compliance.

Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in accounting and payroll processes.Experience with garnishments.Strong Excel skills.Experience with VistaView Point.Familiarity with UKG systems.

Work Environment

Join a collaborative garnishments team of four, reporting to the payroll manager. You will be part of a larger payroll department consisting of approximately 40 individuals. The role requires working four 10-hour days, providing a unique work schedule. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
