Our client,is seeking a Payroll Executive to join their team. As a Payroll Executive, you will be part of the Payroll Department supporting various teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a commitment to employee service, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.
**Job Title:** Payroll Executive
**Location:** Orange County, NY 10910
**Pay Range:** $90,000 - $130,000 (Bonus eligible)
**What's the Job?**
+ Provide strategic oversight and execution of end-to-end payroll operations for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
+ Ensure full adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax laws, wage and hour requirements, and reporting mandates.
+ Lead the development and continuous improvement of payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls.
+ Manage and enhance vendor relationships, including oversight of third-party payroll service providers.
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing payroll team, fostering professional growth and operational excellence.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
+ Minimum of 10 years of progressive payroll experience, including 5+ years in a leadership or team management capacity.
+ Deep expertise in payroll operations and regulatory compliance in a multi-state environment.
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to employee service.
+ Proficiency in UKG and UKG UTA preferred; experience managing HRIS payroll systems strongly desired.
