Payroll Coordinator - APAC

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Payroll Coordinator for APAC region.


In this role, you will:

Support data maintenance to ensure complete and accurate record of payroll informationPrepare payroll input forms for less experienced analysts, calculating and processing changes on internal reports outside of PeopleSoftAct as a subject matter expertise by performing moderately complex operational records, deductions and proceduresEnsure payroll operations and controls are followed and maintains compliance with policyAudit work completed by analysts and draft standard operating proceduresReceive direction from supervisor and escalate non-routine questionsIdentify and own resolution of payroll regulatory risks by applying understanding of current industry practicesResearch and resolves complex data and transaction changes in area of focus while monitoring impacts to operations and resourcesInteract with internal and external customers to respond to the raised concerns as well as determine appropriate course of actionServe as an intermediary between parties to resolve disputed matters, negotiates, and enact settlements accordingly


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of HR Operations, Accounting, Payroll, Payroll Tax experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from recognized universities or institutes.Experience in APAC (Asia Pacific) countries End-to-End Payroll Operations, Full and Final Settlement, Statutory compliance, etc.


Job Expectations:

Preparing Payroll inputs and validate 100% of Payroll output calculations from Gross to net (including statutory deductions).Preparing payroll related MIS reports like CTC variance, head count, pay revision and quality reports.Good knowledge of Statutory outputs reports validation & returns filing.Good knowledge of APAC (Asia Pacific) countries payroll taxation and labor laws.Good Knowledge of APAC (Asia Pacific) countries’ periodic filings and year end payroll tax forms/statements preparation.Good Knowledge of payroll software.Experience in Internal/External Payroll Audits.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.Medium to Advance MS Office & Excel skills, data entry skills.Experience in working with Industry prominent Payroll software systems e.g: Workday, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow SAP, and ADP Global View.Must be able to adapt to change well.
